Destination Iceland is just one week away and a new flyfishing adventure will soon unfold. For the fourth year running I'm so lucky to have the possibilty to visit this great island with it's stunning rivers and lakes and dramatic nature.
Iceland is one of the best locations in the world to fly fish for seatrout, browntrout, artic char and atlantic salmon. This year we'll visit the rivers Grenlækur and Vatnsa. Both rivers are located in the southwest of Iceland, in the Katla Vulcano area.
Our main target will be to catch atlantic salmon, seatrout and browntrout. We will also visit Lake Heidarvatn in search of the lakes stunning brown trout.
Please enjoy the film with highlights from previous years and you will maybe understand my excitement right now...
