Flyfishing Iceland, one week away...

Destination Iceland is just one week away and a new flyfishing adventure will soon unfold. For the fourth year running I'm so lucky to have the possibilty to visit this great island with it's stunning rivers and lakes and dramatic nature.

Iceland is one of the best locations in the world to fly fish for seatrout, browntrout, artic char and atlantic salmon.
This year we'll visit the rivers Grenlækur and Vatnsa. Both rivers are located in the southwest of Iceland, in the Katla Vulcano area.
Our main target will be to catch atlantic salmon, seatrout and browntrout. We will also visit Lake Heidarvatn in search of the lakes stunning brown trout.

Artic expedition

Hope to drag some attention and new friends to @heidenstrom mates who are doing a seven year expedition in the artic . On Greenland now. Going west. Palmesus på palmesøndag

Flott palmesøndag på Villa Malla ved Filtvet fyr på Hurum. Prøvde noen kast fluestanga i nordavinden, men det ble mest kos i sol og leveggen ved restauranten...
Flott sted, bra lokasjon for fiske.

A perfect day for ice fishing

Spent some hours on the ice at Rødbyvann today. Rødbyvann is a lake housing Perch and Pike with good size. When icefishing in my neighborhood I usually choose this location.
The fishing was slow today, but I got som perch, but none bigger than 500 g this time. Anyway what a great day on the ice:-) I also got some great underwater shots with my new GoPro Hero3 camera.
