Each fall I fly off to Iceland with some friends to enjoy some relaxing days days with fly fishing seatrout, brown trout, artic char and salmon. Been to several good locations in the south of Iceland, mostly in the area around Vulcano Katla.
The south of Iceland have many very good rivers and lakes housing monster trouts.
The value of money for fishing on Iceland is fear, compared to Norway and Russia I would say the prices are cheap. We have landed seatrouts up to 7 kg and brown trouts up to 3 kg the last two years.
